ADAPT Certification

In addition to leading open training sessions over Labor Day Weekend, the Parkour Generations instructors will also be leading the first United States Level 1 ADAPT certification on September 2, 3, 4 and 6. Registration for ADAPT has closed, but keep an eye out for the ADAPT students as they help lead the Ohio Labor Day Jam!

Stephane Vigroux

Stephane Vigroux will provide instruction throughout the training on Labor Day weekend. He provided instruction in Columbus at the 2008 Memorial Day Exposition and at American Rendezvous, this past May.

Stephane learned his parkour from one of the founders of the discipline, David Belle, studying with him for five years, and is now considered one of the world authorities in his own right.

Dan Edwardes

Dan Edwardes will provide instruction at American Rendezvous. Like Stephane, Dan provided instruction at both the 2008 Memorial Day Expo and at American Rendezvous, this past May.

After completing his undergraduate and masters degrees at Cambridge University, Dan spent several years in Japan and South-East Asia continuing his lifelong practice of various fighting arts and movement disciplines and there began his training in parkour.

Dan has been instrumental in the institutionalization of parkour, and he has produced a considerable body of literature on parkour including two books published in 2009.

Chris Keighley

Chris was added as an instructor in reaction to the overwhelming response to the Level 1 ADAPT certification. His skill, strength and determination are inspirational to all who train with him, and he is now a Senior Coach within the Parkour Generations teaching team. Chris was also an instructor at American Rendezvous this past May.
