Appropriate even for those never hearing of parkour before, each class will first focus on developing a love of movement and fitness through fun obstacle courses and other movement challenges.
Beginner students will learn fundamental movement techniques to build athleticism and maintain their own safety. Any students that become comfortable with the fundamentals will be challenged to develop speed, power, and coordination with techniques increasing in difficulty and utility. Lastly, students who have shown a proficiency with intermediate movements and are looking to develop a high level of skill may be instructed on advanced techniques such as double kongs, rail precisions at height, etc.
The classes will be different every day based on our always changing theme of the week and our movable gym equipment. Multiple coaches will be on staff, so in the case of larger classes the group can split into experience levels.
Open to members and on a drop-in basis.
